| "LOTS OF CATS" Marlene Meyer 8:30-4:00 (6 hr) Students get to make an 8 point cathead on a new angled cedar base. Shaping is very important and we will spend lots of time on shaping techniques. The design at the top is dyed flat reed and the rim is leather. Embellishments will be offered for an additional cost. Approx. 7” x 5” base x 11” H Intermediate Class, prep & material fee $60 |
| CRACKER JoAnn Kelly Catsos 8:30-7:00 (9 hr) This useful basket was inspired by an antique Shaker Basket. Woven of finely prepared black ash splint over a wooden mold, the corner stakes are split to allow for the graceful shape of the corners. The darker heartwood stakes and white sapwood weavers combine with the single lashed cherry rims to complete this dynamic basket. Approx. 12” L x 5” W x 2 ½” H Intermediate Class, prep & material fee $99 |
